Golfing the Heartland -- #5 green / #6 Women's Tee - GolfCascade.com

The Heartland's unique combination of civilization's refinements and nature's untamed provinces is nowhere better illustrated than in the opportunities for the grand game of golf. Within the region you will find everything from meticulously manicured and groomed courses, to well-maintained community courses, to a unique and challenging 18-hole wilderness course in the backcountry at Yellow Pine, where hiking boots are more appropriate than golf shoes. With the recent addition of Jug Mountain Ranch, the Idaho Heartland can justifiably lay claim to being one of the best golf destination resort areas in the Pacific Northwest.

Golf Cascade #8 148yds - (c) GolfCascade.comCascade Golf Course

One of the most Scenic golf adventures in the Northwest. Nestled away in the mountains along beautiful Lake Cascade just an hour and half away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Where else can you play a round of golf and look up from any shot and see the beautiful picturesque view of a lake with snow capped mountains. Even though it is a nine hole course there are four sets of tees set up to play eighteen holes with a different shot to the green on each round. It is a course that welcomes the young "junior" golfer to the young at heart. There is a challenge on every hole with sloping fairways and greens that are difficult to read. Blind shots off the tee box to the fairways and tee shots over the water will challenge even the low handicap golfer. After a fun round of golf the friendly and fun staff will welcome you to the 19th Hole for a cool refreshment of your choice. Lakefront Restaurant is a full service restaurant and bar with a relaxing out-door patio with those same scenic views. Lunch starting at 11:00 AM and dinner starting at 5:00 PM.
