Armstrong Park Will Be the Pride of Cascade 

The plans for the renovation of Armstrong Park just keep getting better and more exciting! The dedication of each member of our committee will ensure that when this project is complete, everything is done to perfection. Rolling landscaped berms, shade providing trees, handicap accessible walking trails, safe playground equipment, and precision placement of bricks in the gazebo will only guarantee that the park will be a treasure for our community.  We are going to raise what it takes to accomplish our goal through the generosity of this community and its visitors.  We are already well on our way through the sale of bricks and the donations of time, skills, equipment and money. However we still need more.  If you have not purchased your brick, now is the time. The 18’x18’ gazebo floor will be designed with the first bricks sold. The first few $3,000 + sponsors will have a 16”x16”granite slab placed in the center of the gazebo to highlight their generosity. The remainder of the gazebo floor will be designed with 4”x8” ($50 bricks) and 8”x8” ($150 & $200) bricks.  We feel confident that this project will be completed by the end of 2009.
